Yeah, the band (Clutch) is from Germantown, MD and they are "based" out of Frederick, so makes sense he'd be hitting shops all around the DC area. As for dirt, yeah I totally agree with him. With a good high-gain amp you can easily control everything from the guitar, and it just sounds "better"
