New Ludwig's

Nice drum set. I could never play drums, I can't even chew gum and stinker at the same time
 
Got her dialed in now huge fat sound 24" bass drum 13" rack tom 16" floor tom 18" floor tom 6.5" x 14" Ludwig Black Beauty snare drum

I'm always blown away by the cost of cymbals.
Regardless of my tight-fisted attitude ... congratulations, great looking kit!
 
So what did Ludwig call that color or model ? Ive never seen that color before.Sparkle color yes,that color no.
 
Thank You All. I just pulled the trigger on a Ludwig maple set last night will show photos when I get it. You would think 2 DW Collectors sets and the Ludwig set would be good
but I wanted a Ringo or Doors set. Our Drummer had massive surgery he's out for good. So were down to a 3 piece band what sucks we selected our songs around the keyboard player
That said good part of the story is every one in the band is a pro drummer. Learn all new songs now for a show 10/7/2017 learned 4 Emerson Lake and Palmer songs last night
I'm playing bass guitar keyboards and drums. Joe is playing bass and drums. Doug is playing keyboards and drums. What a freak show but we killed at Jam night and are booked for
the rest of the year.
 
Great goings on, bro. Sorry about the health of your drummer though.
Re: the Ringo kit, Our LONG history local music store has a 60's era Ringo Setup in their front window.
I should take some pics to post for you.
 
I ordered a 10 x 14 rack tom last night it should finish the set. I decided the Ringo set was to small for me and cancelled the order.

Congrats on ordering a new 14, Steve.
On my Pearl Masters kit, I have a pair of 14's,,,,,,,,,,,, a 14x11 and 14x12 and a 16x16. I would love to even have a 14x14 and an 18x16 but as a 7 pc kit, I have plenty to play.

Aw man, you are making me nostalgic - that place was like my second home in the early days (the last spot, on the opposite side of the parking lot to be exact, not the original spot up Frederick Road). I bought probably the first 5 guitars and 2 or 3 amps I ever owned there.

The floor tom in the back is a Pearl Masters 16 x 18 Why drum makers supply a 13" tom is silly
