Wow, based on the 2 you posted, I may have to try one. I do not see them around my parts that much, and the ones I have seen are of the acoustic/electric varietyGuys if you have a chance to try out some Godin guitars, give them a go.

This man deserves a nobel peace prize!!! He is creating harmony in harmonics! It may be lost on eSGEe. He revels in the present.
I may have to get one of those when they are out, just to do my share in promoting peace. It would be my first pickup guitar. He notes that it already is routed for a neck pup if you want to do so after 10 years. I give myself 10 minutes!
That guy, Daniel, also said that there are starter pilot holes for the extra components, and Godin will supply factory pickguards for extra pup routes.I may have to get one of those when they are out, just to do my share in promoting peace. All that remains to be seen is the street price. Flat top, 1 pickup, Godin....$ 750 new? That guy, Daniel, also said that there are starter pilot holes for the extra components, and Godin will supply factory pickguards for extra pup routes.
Glad you did. I know Godin has been around for a while, but I have not paid much attention to them. They've always had a pretty good reputation thru the mag reviews, AFAIK. The video was encouraging to see a company that really wants to put out a great product...Maybe I started something here.

If you get the chance online go to the Godin factory tour. Also I believe some time back Godin used to make necks for Fender and Kramer guitars. Godin has become an Innovative guitar Manufacture selling World wide . They now have 6 factories , 5 in Quebec and 1 in Berlin New Hampshire. All the guitars are made in Quebec. The New Hampshire plant does assembly only of the Electric guitars. Godin also has a healthy Acoustic division as well, under the names of Seagull, Norman, Art& Luthrie. Simon Patrick, LaPatrie guitars. There are many rave reviews in guitar magazines and online on their guitars. They are a company that is doing well and because of their innovation I believe they will be around for time to come.
So Brian Wampler arrives home after the winter NAMM shows, and has something to say. Can you guess which was my favorite part?

Crop Dusting! I like it when Brian's son tries to explain it like it is...Mrs. Smith?

Since you are a Godin guitar fan which is Canadian made, have you ever heard of Lado guitars? I think they're built or used to be built in Toronto since the 70's. I had the privilege of meeting a fellow guitarist a while back who owned one of the very first Lado guitars which was a semi-hollowed body guitar that had 27 frets on it! It was simply gorgeous...I wish I had the chance of taking pictures of it.
