Its my #1 Passion

Thanks I build them you can buy kits that are prebuilt, but the majority are built and painted by me. Top speed on these 80MPH. The giant ones in the top picture, I am running 2 stroke engines O.S. 1.60s pumping out four horses. I run 10% Nitro with synthetic oil for lubrication. When doing aerobatics flying about 300 ft for doing flat spins, and flying down off the deck about 15 feet. These are replicas of full size the giants are 80 inch wing span. The red and white one is a Super Chipmunk that I built in my own colours it was published in one of the model magazines a few years back. These Planes do everything their full size counterparts do . Hamerheads, rolls , inverted flight, snap rolls, Knife edges . Its very exhilarating when flying them.

They are a blast to watch, but a bigger bang when you are piloting one. Yes the jets are something as well, I was going to get into jets but the fields at the clubs where I go nearby the one is too small and the other one is plenty big enough but it has huge trees right where you come in for landing so its out of the question for me at this point in time. Thanks!

Respect to you!
Almost unrelated, I've had a fly of a drone and get confused with L & R when I turn it around and it's coming back at me :-(
I also flew one with a nose camera and a monitor in a headset, that was easy, like actually sitting in the cockpit.

Thanks Truss-rod sorry to hear about your short flying career this is why we recommend joining a proper club to learn, the guys are very good who teach. Ive been doing it coming up 24 years now and it only gets better.
Its all good. That was years ago and I got involved in Nitro cars. Had a lot of fun with those but again it was years ago....
