So Anyway, What's the Best Thing That Happened to You Today

I found a mint White Les Paul case on Reverb. Been wanting one of the white ones for my '79 for some reason.

Best thing today ...
Had an ultrasound guided steroid injection into my right hand, 3rd finger, 3rd joint.
Just now the local anaesthetic is wearing off, exciting times :-(
Tomorrow I may try burning bamboo under my finger nails, that sounds about as good.

I have the original chainsaw case, and everyone swears by them, but it smells like a 39-year old guitar case and it's starting to show its age in other ways, so I decided I would retire it and get another but I held out for a white one and finally found one in like-new condition. They were only available in 2010 with the LE Standards, so not easy to find.

NONONO !! You've got to do better. For 400 (40, but leave it) years I been criticized as negative. I could do much better in a thread like that, trust me. OK, you got out of bed and didn't break your leg, right? You brushed your teeth and they were all there? You're roof don't leak (my fav)? See? -1
Now, I could have told you the DOMINATING truth: I haven't had a shower in 17 days. Still have no hot water. . .
ultrasound is magic. just wait. I can't count how many . . .
and it's your RIGHT hand !!
I'll give you a Lone Star I don't have to pay for till February. . .why is my budget always screwed?? OFF TOPIC IS OFFICIALLY ALLOWED ON THIS THREAD
Where do I go to ask about comparisons I find at Reverb and such?

Woke to a glorious mid summer day.
Drove 5 minutes (to the doctor) along a road with the blue Pacific Ocean on one side.
After doctor had coffee with my loving wife ON the beach.
Managed 30 min practice (with numb right hand) on one of my too many guitars.
About to visit a lifelong friend for an afternoon beer.
Between the bad bits, life is good :-)

EDIT
Oh, and I retired almost 11 years ago, still haven't gone broke, can't really complain.

Hey !! I'll take it !! I'm not GASing, I'm buying. Just throw a drier sheet in it and don't open for awhile. ok, not it's mine. NOW it's mine

WOW !! So you could see to play !! GOOD plan. I've had glasses since I was 8. You really made the frames, no ST?? Hard to believe, but I am HIGHLY impressed

They were not for me. They were for an I.T. guy that works up the street from where I work. I made the moderately high Rx lenses that are in the frame, by hand...the old fashioned way...with a diamond wheel. I start with a hockey puck sized circular lens blank. I don’t make the frames(at this juncture), some human in Oregon made that one(I like their craftsmanship).

Good grief !! Why don't you practice more or improv with such a beautiful room?? Do you remember what garages look like?
