I am GASing for the ES339. There are some videos on youtube but some don't sound so great, so I am waiting to make it to the city if they ever get one in to try. I may have to rely in word of mouth....
Thank you Don, that is exactly the reviews I have been looking for. I play sitting down because I only play for my GF and myself. So I think the smaller body would definitely be beneficial to me. I love the sound of a 335 and I am not ruling out the Casino either, other than the fact they are bigger bodied. I have a Epi Riviera P93 and I absolutely love it. The sound is so warm, just the way I like it. I don't play loud so as far as the center block, that wouldn't make to much of a difference to me, however it makes sense the way you explained that. Thanks again, your opinion is valued.....I can supply that. They sound great. Somewhere between a Les Paul and a 335. Unlike the 335, it's not like handling a barn door in a high wind - the smaller body is great, and the centre maple block allows you to play at high gain without feedback. And of course the finish is superb. I can't find any flaws even under a magnifier.

Not to forget that the working frequency of the employees appears to be lower than that of the Gibson USA solid body factory where the workers seem much more in hurry.Nice video, and it is easy to see where Epiphone get their quality from; a great balance of CNC and hand work.
