PRS pickups are my other favorite. These were rare.
I'm lovin' these Thro-Bak SLE-101's.

There are so many grrat pickups out there. Baepre Knucle, Sanford, Fralin and our very own sponsor, Bobby of Tyson Tone Labs. I wish I could try them ll, but mostly I just look ror deals.I'm lovin' these Thro-Bak SLE-101's.
seems you did-----450So anyway, I just sold a pair of PRS pickups for $ 450. You cannot put a price on good tone!
Usually G&B, who make great pickups. My experience has been that they sound good and they do not squeal, although I am sure it varies by set.I got some (I guess El Cheapo PRS Korean pups) ??? RVA may enlighten me--- in my SE Standard 24 ......dunno what they are "name wise" -- but they sound AWESOME!

wow, your tastes are changing - 80's metal to PAF tones!? What is this world coming to?!Want to swap out the Alnico II PAF clones in my Gibson SG for a PAF style humbucker in the 8.6/7.6 bridge/neck range with nickel covers, 2 conductor and Alnico V magnets...

I think the SEs and S2s have different pups wound to different specs. That said, your point remains intact. Both of my S2 Miras have SE Asia electronics in them
and I see no reason to "upgrade". The guitars sound
just fine the way they are thank you.
So darn neat! Are those special, super duper caps with that add the tone of the gods?
