I always sound like me...but I do like the punch and dynamics I get from raising my PAF's.

Case in point--- the pups on the PRS are RIGHT where they were when I got it-- and they will stay that way because it sounds AWESOME-- (thank you again for your assistance there)

When you get a Dog Ear guitar --- and learn to ADJUST your narrow mind to appreciate THAT particular guitars voice -- instead of having to bend, adjust/tweak EVERYTHING to YOUR "liking" ---- maybe we can have an adult conversation......

However, I am not sure how you can consider your posts not to be personal. Also, you always bring this up, not me, unless I am playing into the joke in a self deprecating way. In fact, it seems that this thread was started as a jab at me personally.

Anyway, sorry for the offense.

My Dear Tony-- I have been in traveling sales for 30 years--- I have eaten more gas station food that was day old than Carter has Liver Pills....I have spent my life training my body to live off anything --- from good homemade food from my Italian Grandmothers kitchen --- to the BEST Cuban Sandwich on the planet that comes from a small corner sandwich shop inside a Citgo Station on the "bad side" of Lakeland-----
If it gives me heartburn it will KILL a mere mortal.

IT may sound stupid--- but --- if the apocalypse comes and all thats left are 10 year old twinkies and some nuclear meat --- ya'll "good food" folks wont survive ----I'll burp and continue on.....

Now back to our originally scheduled thread.... I’m not that great a guitar player so K.I.S.S. is my deal. The most “adjustable” guitar I have is the MIM Strat I just gave myself for Christmas. The usual 5 position switch with a button that brings in the bridge pup in positions 4 and 5. And with those 7 available tones..... I still find myself using pos 3 more than any of the others. But that’s just me.
