I like to listen to the words of a song and the story it tells as well as listening to the music. Many of the songs on that LP tell very good and interesting stories.

I played and sang Ray Charles "Hard Tomes" to my wife tonight. Her response....

"That is the most ridiculous story I ever heard! Sell your clothes to pay the rent? Especially coming from you. Get real."

And I thought I could play the blues because I lived the blues. Maybe metal would be better for me...or '80s - some Van Halen mixed with Duran Duran. Sheesh, try to serenade a girl and this is what I get!
