Buffered pedals

Yes.
It's borderline noticeable at that point.
If I am in a venue that uses more than the 6 foot cables I take the buffered pedalboard.
(The newest version of the TC Polytune has a build in switchable buffer.)

I know longer need 25/30/50 foot cables.
These days are long over for me.

If you think your particular setup is on the shrill-side, but don't like the effect of reducing the amps treble, you have the options of using cheap longer cables with high capacitance or my favorite option: a good quality coily cable... a sparkly purple one...

I have heard of that too.
I know of some shrill set ups I'd like to use it on.
She could probably breathe ok with that coily cable shoved in her mouth too.

Here's a short and decent read on some facts and myths on this subject:

So he has an opinion. So do I, one based on personal experience. A long run of TB pedals kills the signal and you need to stick a buffer in there to retain the sound and feel, preferably an input buffer. Just cos some puffer on the internet claims that anyone who disagrees with him doesn't know what they are talking about don't make it so.

I use a 15" cable from my guitar to my pedalboard, a 20" cable to the front end of my amp, and two 20" cables for my effects loop, plus a heap of cabling under the pedalboard to connect sixteen pedals together. Do I have buffers? Damn straight I have buffers!

Bootsy Collins is the SH!T when it come to bass in my book. I think he puts FLEA to shame without even trying.
