it---should --BURN

If Gibson offered that at $600 they would sell all day long. At that price they can keep it! I can get a dual P-90 2016 SG standard for $999.99 right now.

Doesn't compute. My SG Standard was only $100 more? Makes no sense at all.
For the right price I would seriously want one of these but that pricing is seriously asinine.

I think Gibson went to hell after 2008 All the true historic so called Les Pauls the nut is to small 1.687" what a joke. Should be 1.9375"

1.9375???? are you serious?

The ZERO -NUT on the 2015 Jr. is 1.795 (acording to the interwebs) and wider than any other 6 string I own. Even wider than some of the basses.....about the same as the T-series Peavey basses that most folks complain are huge---

2" wide nut ?? thats like nylon string clasical type width isnt it????

I mean --- not arguing --- gibson...road to hell --all good-(Henry J is the Devil) -- however .....that nut width seems----well NUTS

I'm talking 1950's to 1964 Gibson nuts I have 2 custom shop LPS ordered 1 15/16" nuts I have big hands. And when I measure a real 1950's Les Paul the body is 3/8" wider.

I was wrong it's 1.750" or 1 3/4" I measured a 1956 LPC 1957 LPGT 1958 LPS 1960 LPS 1/1965 SG Standard some were 1.800" and 1.750" on the low side

But why would Gibson go to 1.687" and call it true historic. ??????

I love the ZERO nut necks --- shallow and wide---- sorta like my personality ! !!! BUWAHAHAHAHAH

Good question - we'll never get a straight answer though. Typical width was 44-45mm, so right in your range of measurement, and my 2016 Traditional is just a tick over 44mm, so I can't imagine why they would go smaller with something marketed as historically accurate.

That is true, but the 2016s don't come with a case. I love the 2016 P90s, so $1000 is probably a good deal if you can get one; I wish I had.

Are you causing trouble again?

I had that exact guitar with birds , $400 new, and it's really nice. The pickup was average and needed changing, and mine had a badly cut nut that needed replacing, but other than that everything else was top-notch - a beautiful guitar.

I sold it because the wide and flatish neck made my wrist ache after 5 minutes of playing.

(To be honest, I had an SG faded too and just never played the PRS. I had a couple of friends around to jam out a few times, both of them gig around town, and both liked the PRS, but couldn't put the SG faded down., so the PRS just never got played - I kinda wanted to keep it, she was beautiful, but the faded just put the PRS in the shade when play-time started.)

I wish I had the extra scratch and I would! X-mas shopping sucks my wallet dry faster than I can fill it if the Ol' lady has anything to say about. After X-mas I finish paying for a 2011 Z-71 I just bought dirt cheap because it needs a new Tranny. So that needs handled and then maybe a DSL50 :)
