What Should I Do to This Gibson CM???

So I bought this because I wanted a single PUP guitar and it was on sale from $699 to $399...

IMO it's barely worth $399 and I hated the finish on the top...so I took most of it off. The plan
was to use wood dye and dye it green...now I'm having second thoughts...so...

Bearing in mind that I'm not keen on taking it down any (much) further because I'm lazy...

What Would You Do? (WWYD?)

All ideas will be considered. If there are a few good ones I'll start a Poll!

Did you read the part about me being lazy??? No fretwire change for sure! It was a crappy matte black, maybe a nicer matte black.

Not sure I want to drop money on too many parts, but I do have a VERY Hot Passive pickup I won from a custom winder 11.4K I believe!

The color change looks really good. If it was mine I would shoot it with clear and give it a polish, put a cover on the pickup and rock on.

That is most likely what I will do now. Make sure I got all the areas and move on. I'm changing the pickup out so a cover will be easy...

DID someone say GLITTER!?/ Even the LARGE manufacturers are getting in the act!
lIKE sT, pATRICKS DAY IN sAN fRANCISCO OR SOMETHING!

Looks good.
Sort any fretwork issues, string it, play it!
go with that hot pickup if it adds something to your stable you dont have.

I'm always sorry to hear of disappointment when someone spends $$ on a Gibson or any more pricey guitar.
That said, I'm the guy who's most spendy guitar is an Epi SG/G400 faded.
Which I have not seen or played for months because my son is right now playing Master of Puppets on it through $40 peavey SS practice amp and a $40 DOD Boneshaker pedal and he sounds great.
