Just when you think everything has already been invented

That is genial ! Why didn't anybody think of that before ?

We all see that a P90 with it's cover won't fit a humbucker route. But what about the coil by itself ?

I think I'll try my hand at making some of those covers. P90 plastic covers and humbucker rings are cheap enough to mess around with.

I've been waiting on these Forever! I participated in a Go Fund me for these many months ago, but it fell short of the goal and the money was refunded...sad...

I looked up possibilities to make some. Should be pretty straightforward.
You'd need a humbucker to mini adapter ring, a humbucker ring and a P90 cover. By hacking these together with some glue, I'm sure I can get there.
Now I'd just need a Sanford's P90, to attempt the stunt.

Can't adjust height, though. The ring would have to be custom tailored for preferred height. Still like the idea, though.

Exactly. You have to know the P90 you are going to use. They have to have been played on another guitar, to find their sweet spot as height is concerned.
Or there is the possibility of adding shims under the rings.
