G&L Tribute ASAT under 300.00 NEW

its in the ad on the left. The blue Tele HB neck!
I WANT that!!
But I want to stay married more.....

I ought to buy the Tribute ASAT just to compare Korean made to USA made...

I've come close to buying one a couple times. They are very good (though not made in Korea any longer, Indonesia now) and have the USA pickups in them, so the tones are pretty much there. But the USA ones are just 'special' somehow and you can feel it in your hands. They are worth the extra scratch. For that price though its tough not to pull the trigger on the Trib.

I was not aware they moved production to Indonesia...the Koreans are doing what the Japanese did in the past, their quality is increasing and they are pricing themselves
out of the lower end market. I just read some articles about overseas production yesterday. Korean goods have caught up Japanese goods quality wise in almost every market.

Seems to be the case. I've only owned one Korean guitar, a PRS SE, and it was fantastic. Would absolutely buy one again. The only Japanese guitar I ever had, a Fender, was truly mediocre in comparison.

Ive had many Japanese guitars---presently an Epiphone ET-290 1971 ish era.....it is VERY nice for its age and the fact it was beat to hell and PLAYED.....not hidden away in a drawer...sounds amazing still has the ORIGINAL 3 way switch !

I since added some PROPER gold top hat knobs .... :)

Thats cool......except thats just watered down stuff---- you can see through it
