Tuesday evening re-wire

My playing is particularly uninspired tonight, so I decided to add some sound to my PRS CU24 Experience 2012.

It had the standard PRS 5 way blade positions which are

Position 1: Bridge humbucker
Position 2: Bridge humbucker with split neck
Position 3: Bridge and neck humbuckers
Position 4: split neck and split bridge
Position 5: Neck humbucker

And now it has

Position 1 with pull = split bridge

Position 3 with pull = neck humbucker with split bridge

Position 2 with pull = split neck and split bridge (same as 4)

Beautiful guitar, and a nice clean job of the extra featured wiring.

I can't help but notice the arrangements of the springs for the guitars vibrato... tell me a story...

Thank you. I will tell you a long-ish version of the story, if I may.

This guitar is a tad famous, having been featured in promos for the PRS Experience, their guitar expo.It was a brand new color for that year, "Autumn Sky". It also has the famed 53/10 pickups. which were popular and then went out of production because, according to PRS, they ran out of the wire and could not source it anymore. Many who I knew from a PRS forum that went to the Expo played it. Then it wound up at a store until 2014, when I bought it for a fair price.

The deal with the springs and trem is that I deck all my guitars since I never really learned how to use a trem effectively. I had to remove the springs to crank down the 6 bridge screws and I was VERY new to guitar tinkering. I guess I zigged when I should have zagged with the middle one!
