Who makes a really good and SAFE case???? The genuine Gibson's don't look very shock resistant??? My Von Herndon Double Neck is built to EDS-1275 dimensions...but would really like a no-logo case and with better protection.

The price is right for that one. Pelican makes really good utility cases. Big $$$ but they have pick & pluck pre cut foam insides. I have them for several of my rifles.

I own one old school Anvil Flight case. Beautiful, soft as a woman's... with Red Velvet interior, plush, plush, foam and solid as a brick.
The only issue I ran into was after about 20+ years the foam under the Velvet broke down underneath. I am refoaming it and then reapplying the Velvet for my Epi Lester.

I decided to pick up an inexpensive case just to have a way to store the Double Neck here at home. This one arrived this morning. It's nicely made and fits the guitar well.

What you need is a plush covered flatbed truck.

The more i looked at the lack of headstock protection on this tweed case, the more concerned i became for the safety of the guitar.

I decided to use an Epiphone case for the time being, then have a custom case made later on. At least now, it's protected and Sam Ash had a special on the Eli case for $128.00 shipped....

Those Epi cases are a lot nicer than you would expect for the money. I got one for my Firebird and I can't see any good reason to replace it, fits like a glove and as sturdy as any other flat case I own, and it was like $109.

Yes!!! I agree!!! My doubleneck is a tight fit. I actually had to push the body down into the foam at first, but it's better after sitting overnight...
