TC Electronic & Sweetwater

TC Electronic has come out with new versions of the Flashback delay
and the Hall of Fame reverb pedals (version 2 of each).
Sweetwater sound is selling off the version 1s for $99.00 each.
This is a steal. I just ordered 1 of each.

That little white clip on tuner on the sale item list, I can attest, is no toy. That thing kicks some serious gluteus maximus. I had one gifted to me last year. Best tuner I've ever had. It has a strobe mode, and can pull decent intonation duty.

I'll vouch for TC's Polytune Clip-on. Best Clip-on I've ever hadz:

I picked up for my b day last month a TCE Hall of Fame for a hundred bucks from Sweetwater. I had been waiting for a price drop on it. Sounds better here at home than it did at GC when I tried one out.

OK.
Got the 2 pedals.
Quick shallow first impressions review:

Flashback:
The 2290, analog and slapback are good.
Haven't played around with the others yet.

Hall of Fame:
The TC room and hall reverbs are in there.
Those alone make it worth the money.
Church, plate and tile are very good too.

All in all, both pedals well worth $99.00 each.

Edit:
The flashback has a 40 second looper.
It also has tap tempo (read the manual).

Tony, if you decide to delve into creating your own tone prints with the software on the HOF, let me know. I spent time learning how to tweak the parameters and I am super happy with my creations. The key is picking the right parameters and designing how they respond to the turn of the knob.

Thanks Ray.
It'll be a while for that though.
As for right now, the 2290 setting on the Flashback and the Hall setting
on the HoF are each worth the $99.00 all by themselves, then you get
all the other stuff. Definitely a sweet deal to be had here.
I put a Wampler Dual Fusion in front of them and plugged it all into
the front end of a Supro Thunderbolt + and it really sounds nice.
I may start lugging the t-bolt out to gigs again.
