Remember My $79 Epiphone Les Paul Special?

That real hard poly on a factory guitar is hard to beat!
Yours will work out fine. Just follow the instructions and give it plenty of coats. BTW, it really can take up to 2 weeks before it is fully cured and truly hard like plastic.

That stuff would match an old KUSTOM bass amp very nicely .......looks like Tuck and ROll to me

Now----- what do I want to paint.............hhhhhmmmmm

Well I took it apart months ago to refinish it. My prep work was terrible and I screwed it up BAD! I spend the wkole night last night stripping it down and I painted it again today...

I've only got the back done but the prep work has paid off this time. Hope the front comes out as good as the back!

This is a very deep sparkle metal flake that requires a top coat. So if you see something that looks like pock marks is just a metal flake that caught the light...

I'll start with the "before" photo...

Very nice...even pattern, even gloss, no runs or sags....good job. .It reminds me of the seat on my Schwinn Stingray....and I mean that in the very best way.
