My Hometown Goes Dark During Halloween...

So a close friend from High School inherited the oldest store in town from his family. It's a Five and Dime and it's been in the same place in Fairborn since around 1921. It's been handed down through the generations.

It stays afloat due to nostalgia and the fact my friend was very savy and bought up almost the entire downtown area when the market was down...

The store is called Foy's and Mike, the owner goes nuts at Halloween and the 4th of July. He decorates all of his property with very extravagant and expensive monsters that come alive at night.

The One Town In Ohio That Transforms Into A Terrifying Halloween Wonderland

Well you KNOW how those "dayton area" Ohioans are...........youd NEVER see that behavior in the Cleveland area (mostly because you would get stabbed...er shot.....at least mugged) buwahahahahahhhhhaaaaaaa lloween!

That's very cool. The local community stores that are actually owned by community members are sooooooo much better than corporate holes owned by off-shore profit making machines. Best of luck to your friend, and long may it continue.

I wonder if they have Halloween porn in your town.
