As the title says...

They seem to have some lovely guitars, but I know very little about them. If you have experience or opinions then please share them here.

An interesting model:

I have a Guild GAD M-120 and it is a fantastic guitar. The wood is beautiful, the build quality is flawless and it sounds great.

Guild is also making their high end guitars in the USA now. The ones that are at the $1899 price point and above.

Here's mine.

It's a smaller size acoustic with a very nice warm sound, but also crisp highs and is plenty loud enough for me. It was set up very well and is easy to play. Nice low action.

Did I mention how beautiful the wood is? It's just such a pretty guitar to look at too. The grain just pops and it has a perfect high gloss finish.

The only thing I would like is a little bit wider nut width. I like a 1.75 on acoustics and my Guild is 1 11/16

Be aware the guitar is Smaller in size a "Parlor" size. It will not get the super deep low end like a dreadnought...

Guild, old or new, makes excellent acoustic guitars. Especially their upper lines. A good friend of mine got a great deal on a used D40 Bluegrass Jubilee, a couple years ago. A frickin canon... easily goes toe to toes with my Martin HD28. I just love every chance I get to play on my friends Guild.

Why didn't you tell me about it? You know I was looking for a strat so would likely end up with something completely different like a small acoustic...

Even though I didn't bond with the baby Martin and only had it for two days, I played it a lot. Small acoustics are just so convenient to have, and I want another. The Taylor GS mini is very good, but I don't love the look and feel. I want something easy and fun to play that sounds good aswellas being beautiful and loveable... :D

Here ya go, Betty.
I have wanted a Guild forever. But of course when they stopped selling them at my mom and pop shop, I put em on hold.

Nice sound clip of a D25

Do they make an acoustic bass?

Can I see Selmas bass?

er....wait.......where was I .......blood rushing south............
