I like the smaller. FYI - I learned that Fender went to the larger headstock so that they could display the logo bigger. Go figure.

Yeah... that's why we're fortunate to be able to post pics that are nor more than 1mb directly from our computers or smartphones at this forum. I know it takes extra time, but resizing a pic to meet the requirements is pretty easy... and you don't have to go thru the 3rd party bull-manure...

My first electric was a Tokai Stratocaster. I played it for about five years before I bought my first SG. It was a beautiful guitar, but I was never completely happy with how it felt or sounded. Now, although I am not a Strat guy, there are SO many great Strat players (among my personal favorites are Rory Gallagher, David Gilmour, Jimi and the Danish guitarist Franz Beckerlee to name but a few) and the Stratocaster is such a versatile and sweet looking instrument that it is impossible not to like the whole idea of the Strat. As mentioned in an earlier post, I recently played a Fender CS Strat that almost felt like one of my SGs, so I'm sure there is one for me as well somewhere out there.

Did it work all right? And is it just the angle of some pics or do I look ridiculously small with a strat on?

No joke. If all I had ever heard was his Strat (lack of) tone it would have put me off of both him and the guitars immensely. To this day, whenever I see/hear him playing a Gibson it just sounds so much better that the Strats.

I don't think so. Strats look and feel huge to me. I'm 6'4" and 210#'s and the only thing that plays bigger to me is a Firebird.

Sergio, tell me what the particulars are on this guitar. I think one of my 2 are it's twin. Mine is an '89 Am Std with the TBX pot and is all stock. My other one is a '90 same setup just Maple board instead.
