Had to check out “Spoiler.” Among other things…. Used in Loony Tunes shorts. I believe in a few commercials.

Norman Greenbaum. "Spirit in the Sky." Knew the song with he first note, so ya done good. Had to google who did it. Even then, I don't remember the artist, just the song.

Absolutely right, of course! When the first note gives it away, I guess I must have done something right - thanks! While I can't remember what Norman supposedly used, I had a Tele and AC15. IIRC there's some heated debate about the distortion he used. The 'fuzzed out' tone on this is just the VOX being squeezed to within an inch of its life through a closed 1x12 GB cab.
