Come show night, two bands dropped out. Most likely because they didn’t learn all the material. The booking agent was begging us and the other bands if we could play any extra material to fill the night. Because the show was a couple of days before the anniversary of Rory Gallagher’s death, I offered a half hour of Rory covers if she was game. She made us the headliner so we could do our Thin Lizzy tunes, then Bob left the stage and we blasted out a bunch of Rory.
