Warmoth Telecaster

That's what I mean, a 500K measuring ~490K is a little on the low side, not much though. What would be interesting would be a measurement of the original pots. One of my Tele's had a 220K-ish pot in there and missed a bit of 'bite', let's say. Replaced ith with a 250K (or very close, can't remember the exact spec) and bingo. Ended up replacing the pickups and adding a treble bleed circuit, but that's another matter.
Let me rephrase that, something like 498kish.

That would be pretty spot on as far as regular pots are concerned. 220K vs 250K would be a much bigger deviation and more noticeable. The point I'm making is just that using a 250K linear pot or putting a 500K one in parallel with a 500K resistor is the same thing, not counting parasitic effects which are pretty much inconsequential here.

I haven't been in my music room in a week, been busy with a work project, I made a special trip to the basement just for you lol. Plugged in my Goldtop and played along with this, now I have an guitar adrenaline high!

I tried to tell you not to worry about it, but you wouldn't listen.

I get it, I would have done the same thing. Glad I could help with your "high". Thanks again brother.

I dug around in my parts and found long shaft cts pots I have 2 at 500k and one at 250 not sure if they’re linear or agolrhythmic.
I found a Gibson style switch and some Tele string Farrells. Input switch needs the proper mounting plate. I have strap mounts.
Trying to finalize the paint scheme idea, dye will probably provide the color and clear lacquer. Still looking for the guitar fetish P90’s. Probably not going to sound great with GFS in the neck but temporarily it will due.
