Yes... which gave me a very uneasy feeling. Then I googled the book and found out that A) it's part of a series (and yes, the others are in a similar vein) and B) they're *not* advertised as children's books, thankfully. That leaves us with the perplexing notion of adults purchasing these books for their own consumption...
I guess there are people out there that sort of thing. I won't name any names, but I worked with a guy who, while on break or taking a breather would read and giggle from time to time. He was a very kind, gentle mannered, eloquent individual. A little shy perhaps but a good natured soul. At some point, always being in for a laugh myself, I asked him what he was reading. Turns out, it was .. uhm, how do I put this... tentacle-related adult material... In a million years, I would not have guessed.

I know a good Phish song. It’s on Hoist, and it’s called “Julius.” The lyric is nonsense, but it’s good nonsense, and the track rocks.Hey now. I happen to have a Phish album that I bought on purpose. Even like it.
