Show me yinz axes...

This is all I've got left. Tribute on the left is on it's way out the door and if I knew I could get anything close to what it's worth the Warmoth Tele would be, too. I'm having a reset.

That's a nice spread from buckers, to soapies, to single coils.
Now what?

It should be, but what happened was when I bought the Classic (middle) a couple of months ago it ended up doing everything I was using the others for only it does it all better. Obviously I'm not a twanger 'cause it's got the twang, but since I'm probably keeping the Tele I might just Keef it and tune to open G and pull the low E or something like that.

As for "now what?", I'm not really GASing for anything at the moment so I don't know. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I've never been in this position before.

P90s RAWK!!!

When you find the one, that's all you really need.

That's all I've ever wanted, it's what I've been looking for for the last 20 years since I got back into playing. All the builds I did and all the guitars I've bought and sold have all lead to it.

The same thing has happened with amps and I have a feeling when I get my Ceriatone Plexi 20 that my Origin is going take a back seat.

I have SD Antiquities in my soapie. Freakin' killer!

I've always been curious about the Antiquities and not just the P90s, the HBs too. There just a little pricey for me to try them. I have a set of SD Vintage P90s that I really like, but the neck pickup was too tall to use in my Classic with the mounting plates in the routs and the bridge just isn't hot enough to handle the hard rock/metal stuff I play for my only P90 guitar. Having said that who knows, I might be looking for another P90 guitar to put them in, but I don't think it'll be a Les Paul. Maybe a 335 like @Ampeq has been trying to sell me on... or maybe an SG...or maybe something completely different that isn't even on my radar yet. :hmmm:

I always liked the seagull and sailboat Dobro too, I had a 33h with the standard style 0 volcano and canoe, really cool guitar.
Did you know the only dies that survived from the '30s are the ones that formed that body?

I did not know that. Cool info to have. That guitar is from around 1970. I've owned it since about '89.

Haven’t heard javamgic’s name in a while.
He and I still email regularly. He'll also throw in the occasional remark to an FB post. Now that he's retired, I'd like to get my butt over to Shannon for a visit. My wife and I have too many trips planned through next spring. I'm hoping to get there next summer or fall (2027). With any luck, I should also be retired by then and I won't have to worry if I have enough vacation time available.

I've always wanted to try the Duncan Antiquity Firebird pickups in my Bicentennial 'boid. Now, there are several other options such as Lollar and the Johnny Winter pickups. Since the guitar is 100% original, I've always been a bit squeamish to make any changes to it. I keep thinking that I may buy another Firebird to use as a modding platform, but I think that ship has probably sailed at this point of my life. I want more free time to play all the guitars that I already own.

I have more guitars I sold , that I should still have that were more notable.
A 70’s SG , pretty well used and modded to remove the bixby by but before I got it, my old LP special was another previously modified, one I had to have was the RR1 , regrettably sold it , Gibson explorer root beer burst , all gone
