For a minute I thought that was a forum requirement... Doomed I am if that is true.

Nice looking straticus! I prefer the rosewood / dark fret boards on guitars but it is a crime to cover up the BE.

It is fancy, and beautiful. A Beautiful Ash Back, and Maple- Darkburst in front. And that Neck....

The Fretboard is either some exceptionally smooth and dark rosewood, or it is Ebony.

The Fretboard is either some exceptionally smooth and dark rosewood, or it is Ebony.

The body is a one piece roasted ash with a maple top.
Neck is roasted birdseye maple, and the fretboard is African Blackwood, it is pure black and as smooth as glass.
It plays and sounds amazing. I'm lucky to have it.

African blackwood is sometimes referred to as "Ebony", but botanically it belongs to the dalbergia family- rosewood.
A useless fact, I know.
