The Fretboard is either some exceptionally smooth and dark rosewood, or it is Ebony.

African blackwood is sometimes referred to as "Ebony", but botanically it belongs to the dalbergia family- rosewood.Neck is roasted birdseye maple, and the fretboard is African Blackwood, it is pure black and as smooth as glass.
It plays and sounds amazing. I'm lucky to have it.
