I am grateful that you came to say hello and hope that you and Lee are doing well.

Please come by more often. Really. I suspect that you are every bit if not more than of Kev's equal.

Hi,

Thank you, Lee and I are doing ok. Good days and bad days.

I might have been more than a match for Kevin but we were polar opposites. He was the funny one whereas he used to say that sarcasm was my superpower.

I'm afraid I would have to abstain from that vote. Not having the inside knowledge on who is deserving of that award, I couldn't risk casting a vote for someone who's windows remain unlicked :)

Yes, one year to the day on Thursday since he passed. Thank you so much for remembering. It’s been an emotional last few days but I just thought I would pop in, say hi and maybe mark the occasion.

Lee and I are doing well thanks. It’s been a strained year as you can probably imagine but we’re coping. The grief, although not as raw and overwhelming, is still there but the overriding issue is I just miss him terribly on a daily basis. He left a large Kevin shaped hole in our lives which is impossible to fill. I suspect maybe some of the guys here who really knew him feel something similar.

I hope all is well with you guys on here, I haven’t forgotten your support and compassion and really hope life in general has been kind to you. I remember the site owner was dealing with some stuff and I hope that has been resolved.

Thank you, yeah he truly was a one-off and I feel blessed to have been his partner and the life we shared.
Lee asked me recently if I would trade away all the pain of losing Kevin for never having known him and that question brought home the fact that it’s the price we pay for having loved ones in our lives
 
Hi, Elaine. I saw you posted this morning and I've just been at a loss for words. Thanks for stopping by and letting us know how you're doing. I still miss Kev being around on the forums so I can only imagine what you've been through this past year. I do think about you from time and wonder how you're doing now so it's really good to hear from you.

Hi Steve, hope you’re well. Yeah, the last year has been a difficult one but we’re getting through. You know what Kevin was like so you can imagine the humour, stories and memories he generated and I have all that to fall back on.
