What Amp Do You Use The Most

It's basically a JTM60 all tube 60 watts in new cosmetics, with an added fan to control the heat from the tubes. Perfect beast for me, 2 Celestion Heritage to the rescue.
1997 model made in England.

I had the JTM 60, sent it back.
I looked at the board , it was frightening. lol

Mywatt 200 (a clone of the Hiwatt DR201) on two 115 cabs equipped with Overtone 15L400 speakers. Alternatively a 212cab with two Eminence Delta 12.

The smaller amps only occasionally. And two oher large amps currently in maintenance.

What do you think about Neo magnet creamback speakers? I think it's 5W less than ceramic magnet ones.They weight nothing.

I spoke with a Celestion rep about these not long after they came out. I was hip deep in a lighter cab discussion and search for answers on the Amp Garage forum at the time. Ideas like acoustic guitar style bracing on 1/4" panels and other such foolishness.

The rep told me - they only had one model out at that time - that the jazz guys loved them but the hard rock guys were underwhelmed. Distortion produced some - going on a convo 12+ years ago - harsh artifacts and he didn't recommend them for hard rock.

The PPC212 is the only Cab that I bought new. It has chinese V30s, and some Corksniffers frown upon them. I don't care, I like the Cab as it is. The top Cabinet is much older, it is a stock JCM800 1960A with first generation G12T75s. Some hate these too, but to my ears they sound great.

Another favourite is my JTM45.

It sits on a JCM900 Cab, but inside are 4 nice Greenbacks from the late 80s- the first reissues.



I know I'm spoiled, because I can crank my Amps if I want to.

I guess it depends what volume you play at? I find mine quite fine in my Mesa Mk V 35. But I don't get to play at high volumes. I'm not too discerning, they sound quite similar to the regular Creamback 65 to my ears. I like it!

I’m still messing with speakers for the Jubilee. I’ve tried two G12H-30 Anniversary speakers, a Green back and a Mesa C90 (big wattage mismatch), a Greenback and a G12-H30 Anniversary. I didn’t like any of these speaker combinations in this cab. Those were all 8 ohm speakers running at 16 ohms.

To my surprise, I only had one 16 ohm speaker stashed away in the music room closet. That speaker is a Scumback M75. The lone Scumback speaker sounds better than all of the other pairs of speakers that I’ve tried.

So I ordered a used 16 ohm Creamback to go with the Scumback speaker. I’m hoping that this combination works well.
Both of these are some of my favorite speakers with a Marshall.

I think that should work fine IMO. The original Jubilee combos came with the G12 Vintage Marshall labelled speakers, they are a perfect Jubilee fit.
