Ugghhhhh looks like it was painted with a brush directly onto the wood.This is *not* a good deal. I reckon most here know about the Harrison family, the infamous Music Ground store on Denmark Street (now called Hanks) and the theft, shady practices and counterfeit goods from there. I'm not here to ruin their reputation any more, I doubt it's possible. This had me scratching my head though:

Well, legend has it that the Harrisons are at large again and "Hanks" is just another layer. They still own The British Pedal Company and another brand, too. They got extremely rich doing this, so apparently people do just splurge out on the so-manieth Woodstock Superlead if the seller presents it right. To be fair, The British Pedal Company aren't doing shady business, they're just massively overpriced. Hundreds of quid for a 'hand selected germanium diode' and so on. What they deliver is a decent enough product overall, just insanely expensive.
...back to that lovely speciment... I mean, that cabinet could be a 2020 model, stripped and done over with watercolour for all I can see. The chassis and iron are what you pay for. 5.5K is crazy.

My dream would be to sell to someone that knows its value maybe a famous music studio or something. But I know that is a pipe dream.
I'm just old and likely never going set it up on a stage again and the thought of my family selling it off for $50 in an estate sale gets me too anxious. So I think I am going to sell it while I am alive and try to get a fair price.
There has been no mods to it except the output tube 1Ω cathode resistors, Filter Caps replaced, and those brass knobs, it has some dings and a big tear of the tolex on the back panel of the A cab. All the corners, casters, everything are original. Currently has EH KT-88s

Thanks for thinking about me @PelliX but I found my forever JCM 2204 after playing a dozen new ones in a store in 1982 when I bought it and it’s still going strong.
Super nice rig for sure @XTRXTR and I’m sure you’ll have no problems selling it! It should be kept as a full stack IMHO since it’s a limited edition and the white head needs the white cabs and vice versa.
But sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do…
Shipping via UPS or Fedex might be a shocking $ number. If you manage to sell the whole stack to someone and you must ship them, you might want to consider freight. A popular option is called bikeflights.com They started by catering to vintage bicycle collectors since old bikes are awkward and expensive to ship and the bikes were valuable. Another is called pirateship.com which is a thing where independent shippers compete with each other to give you the best price. I’m sure there are others, but those two are popular. Sometimes them crating the items isn’t much more expensive than having them (or you) pack it “traditionally”.
PS: My studio is more infamous than famous. But thanks anyway Pel..haha

Thanks for the tips. I'm going into this with "it is sold as the whole stack or it isn't sold" attitude. I bought this stack new from pearl street music on colfax in Denver in 1983 as a full stack, its like family, it has to stay together.
I was already trying to solve the crate issue so I appreciate the additional options. Sell as one, crated in three separate pieces, maybe a fourth to hold them all in one main box so they can't be lost pieces. Never did a big enough tour to have airline quality roll cages or I would just use those.
