What’s on the Grill

Ah yes the double entendre of a sausage party. We call it gay chicken for that eye looking at ya and having to reply in a way the eye turns toward the other guy or guys in the game.

Another derail...I live in up UP state NY and there are many Amish here. My friend runs a towing company and a couple of years ago he got a call where some drunk broad crashed into an Amish buggy.

Nearly killed the poor driver and rendered one of the horses lame. That horse had to be put down on the scene. My buddy towed drunk chicks car and found out the full story later. Nothing happened to her since she has friends in the system in this small town.

I feel so bad for the Amish traveling on main roads with cars passing by around 70 mph. Even the best trained/blinded horses can be spooked at those speeds. If anyone ever encounters anybody with horses on roadside, please go by slow and give them plenty of room...like go into the other lane.

Keep in mind that some of these buggies are driven by fairly young children.

Kid or adult, what happened was BS. I mentioned horses being spooked by fast/loud drivers, but that wasn't the case in the scenario I mentioned with the drunk broad.

Broad was just drunk and plowed into them. I was just giving a courtesy PSA about horses on the road for those that don't know how easy it is to startle them.

I know horses on a farm and how easily they're spooked, I can't imagine them on a major highway. Amish life seems like it could be pretty rough. I give them the most respect.

Their bread and doughnuts are spectacular btw. Ellenburg Center, NY Amish ftw!

I would think as in my state that any farming machinery or a slow moving vehicle or a breakdown you are required to slow down and pass in the other lane by law.

That drunkard buggy hittin' chic needs to be locked up.

Speakin' a sausage, I do like a nice dark slow cooked bratwurst on the grill. Sometimes I cook up some tater's on a pan on the other of the grill while i'm doin' the sausage. Taters with onion and garlic, just when it's near done I throw a scrambled egg with a bunch of cheese and green chilli Mmm that's good. Like a breakfast, Taters n links only using bratwurst.
