New pedal board day ...kinda

Just came in with this heavy pedal board made by Vox Valvetronic ToneLab SE.

The owner bought it new many years ago then stopped playing music, now moving he decided to let go some stuff and my eye caught this.

Very clean, everything works as it should, even came with power supply, instruction booklet and padded carrying case.
Lots of effects and very tweakable.
I think it's a $70 well spent :)

With an LED light behind it so it looks like it's doing something... :rolf:
Damn, really?
Though after switching the "tube" in my AVT50 to other 12AX7s, 12AY7, 12AU7s I didn't hear much change with any of the choices.
I may need to revisit that test and record the results to be sure...
Oh well, as long as the new equipment inspires creativity, rock on! :jammer:

The tube in an AVT does a lot more than the tube in the Vox FX board.

I'm not implying anything negative about those Vox FX boards, they have a ton of tones and options.
The board power supply is enough to light the tube heater, but it's not enough to create some kinda gain stage. If I'm not mistaken, the tube acts more like a diode clipper. The back lighting is just for show though...
