Looking for a guitar stand...

I'm looking for a guitar stand like the 2 I have, but I can't find one. I've had these forever and now I need a 3rd. One is a Fretrest, the other is a Dixon. Apparently neither one makes these any more, they make a version with bigger hooks that hold an electric or an acoustic, but I don't want that, I want one like this that the hooks are only for an electric guitar. Anyone know where I can get one like this?

It says "Available for in-store purchase at select stores only" and my GC doesn't have them. I've looked at Proline (website) and they don't have them there.

They only have the ones for acoustic/electric with the bigger hooks.

Unfortunately, making this thread was a last resort. I've been looking for a while now. I guess I'm going to have to wait for a used one to pop up somewhere (and they do) because it seems like no one makes them anymore.

Not sure how I feel about it.

Most often, I prefer a neck hanging style stand…but a small fold-away, that’s safe and stable is a handy thing.

So…I have one of each beside me now…because they work together pretty well, but the A-frame is always a PITA for getting the bass(or guitar) seated properly…because it’s an acoustic/electric one(On-Stage).

Something about those neck "hangers" just seems like they would be easy to knock over. I don't know, it just looks like that to me. And those legs/feet look like they take up a lot of real estate.

Pretty simple though…wonder if they’re “nitro safe”?….easy fix though.

Just be careful with nitro finishes and those cheap foam attachments. They will burn into your finish over time.

Yeah, that's another thing. See...the one's I have are tried and tested nitro safe! That's another reason I'm looking for the same as I have.

Fair. However, it is similar in design to my On-Stage that has had no difficulty in stably holding my T-40(for years/right now)…no small feat. But it’s tough to tell if the foot bars are as long…and centered similarly.

They may be ok, I'm only going by the way it looks in the pics. I'd have to see one in person to decide.
