To What Are Yee Listenin' Right Now?

I'm only just discovering the band really. I used to watch That Metal Show (or whatever it was called) with Eddie Trunk and UFO was his favorite band, he talked about them all the time, but I just couldn't get into it. Then recently my Pandora station started playing UFO songs I'd never heard before and I really got into them. Deep cuts are your friend on Pandora, otherwise they only play the radio singles over and over again. I've fallen in love with the band and am finally realizing why they were so great. Same thing with Aerosmith and a few other bands that I never looked deeper into.
Listen to the Strangers In The Night (live) album. You should be blown away by that version of Rock Bottom, Lights Out In London, the overall sound of the album, and most of all, Schenker's best guitar work.

Other good songs from that album:
Only You Can Rock Me
Doctor Doctor
Mother Mary
Love to Love
Too Hot to Handle
Shoot Shoot
This Kid's

I've posted a couple of vids from that album, Rock Bottom and Mother Mary, maybe others. They were live footage, but I'm not sure if they were from the live album. Listening now. :yesway:

I attended the auction house evening viewing of John Du Cann's guitars/amps etc. after he died with my studio engineer at the time and Steve George, the bass player from Swervedriver.

We didn't bid on anything (I recall his personal vinyl LP collection sold for good money at the time).

I did take a photo or two of his early sixties strat that was up for auction. I've no idea if I've still got them.

This is my 6 year old grandson's favorite song.

Talk about a blast from the past! When I was a kid my dad would sing this song all the time when he was driving, He loved it! I don't think I've ever heard the real song until just now and I have to say, my dad nailed it...right down to the beep beep! That's so funny you would post this.

I think he loved this one just as much, it always followed, but listening to it now I know he didn't remember all the words...
