She makes an apple crisp. Near as I can see only real difference in a crumble and a crisp is the toppings. She's a keeper. I can't get mine to make sherpherd's pie. Or apple crumble. Tuck in for me, too...
We are trying to eat a few more vegetarian meals. Had one last night. But at the end of the day. We’re carnivores. Got a nice tri-tip sitting in the fridge to do a combo smoke/grill to sear in the fridge for Wednesday.I love vegetarian food. It goes so well with meat.
We’re carnivores.
We like our beef and pork. Chicken gets done a fair amount. And we’re working on the seafood. Something we both like. Lamb… have only done a few times. We're omnivores. There's some decent vegetarian food, it's just not enough to get all the nutrients you need without supplementing. My misses isn't a big fan of red meat overall. Personally, I could give up on red meat in favor of just fish and poultry. I'd miss good lamb chops though... She doesn't like seafood though.

That’s me and oysters. For the annual appreciation dinner at church we always did chili and oyster soup. I refuse to eat oysters. I have done it a couple times and frankly, I’d rather swallow snot. But this one year I was on the committee to cook the soups. No one wanted to do the oysters. We had the recipe. I can read. So it fell on me. But I had to have someone else taste it for seasoning. I wouldn’t taste it. Guess it turned out okay. People were coming back for seconds. In fairness my wife will cook meat she just won't eat it - both me & Michael will not eat vegetarian.
Nearest we get is a jacket potato!

Will never forget my first Guinness "proper pour" it is so good..
Overall. Not a big beer fan. A few I’ll drink. But for me. Guinness tends to be too chewy for me. And no. When I do beer it’s not Lite beer. Probably will be something from Sam Adams or the Kona Brewing company from the Big Island. Will never forget my first Guinness "proper pour" it is so good..
