My dad went out looking at trucks today and can't find one he wants for under $40K

Yup...and that's the problem. $40-50k is easy to spend on a nice truck....I just can't do it.
My wife gets a new car every 5 years, and I want her to...she drives a lot for work. Me, I've only purchased one new car in my life and that was in 98....a Ford Ranger.

After some debating, and family telling me i deserve it, I decided it's time. ....HaHA , but not new, just a new to me F150. So, I've looked at many and i'm getting close....when the right deal pops, i'll pounce! (i think I found it too)

It's just for my lifestyle really. I'm a hunter, an outdoors-man, don't have trash pickup, and I cut lawns on the side. My daily 70 mile commute will still require the Subaru. And yes, the stress of work is a hindrance, but i'm excited.

Yep, my dad will buy a low mile truck a couple years old...he's only bought new once and so have I...we both regretted it after the depreciation!
 
That's a lot of sound proofing...That stuff can get pricey. Where did you acquire it?
I've been toying with the idea for my room. It's not an issue with the wife, but I get lots of Echo etc
