What Are You Doing Right Now?

Admonishing myself for not being fluent in trying to play Birthday by the Beatles and sing it at the same time.
Never thought it would be that much of a PITA, especially vocally.
 
Then got myself a project for the summer.
Started earlier and gave it a complete clean-up, it ain't working of course but that the whole idea of a project. I'll probably pass half on this summer working and learning as this is an older model I've never worked on (1958).

After a long day of boat tours and wandering around Riga, Latvia , I’ve been having fun chatting with folks at the hotel bar after the Missus decided to read a bit and crash. The bartender has been tutoring me on some of the influences and nuances of the Latvian language. All three Baltic languages are very different, and although Latvian does draw on German it does have it’s original roots and Russian influence.

Me, I'm on page 9 of a Memorandum of Law, opposing a Husband's Motion to Strike Affirmative Defenses in a big Palm Beach divorce. He's an imbecile. Multimillionaire who cheaps out at the last second and drafts his own one-page prenup. Idiot. Fortunately, I work (as an independent contractor) for the attorney who represents his soon-to-be-ex-wife.

Also, listening to a quickmix of the incomplete instrumental tracks of a song for our upcoming fourth album. Even though it's only like 2:30 or so, it's too big to upload here. Here's a google docs link:

Not sure whether the link will work, but it doesn't have vox or leads yet anyhow. Also there's still extra dead air at the start and end that'll be clipped later.
 
Hanging out at JFK terminal 4 waiting for a flight to Boston. The Missus said we should stop in Mainz for a few days after being in Riga for four days. Got to see family and look into a few things. Of course one of my cousins loaded me up with hometown wine, and over loaded our suitcases. Although short, it was a real nice trip.
