I remember seeing this video on TV as a kid in the very early '70's. I looked it up and it was originally shown on American Bandstand December 9, 1972. (The article didn't mention that I was in the TV viewing audience; sloppy journalism.

I was on the Engineer John Show on Channel 33 and Laurel and Hardy’s Magic Castle on Channel 15, where I won the grand prize: a 15-trick magic kit that set me on a path for a while. Oh, and the club I started in fifth grade was on The Ann Colone Show once.
