Hello. Thanks for letting me in. I have a question on a SLO-100 build. Has anyone experienced the small bridge rectifier on the preamp board going up in smoke on intitial start up? I have checked everything. I brought the amp up via variac without the preamp board to test the power section and all the voltages were perfect. I completed the preamp board and brought up the amp again and then poof. Obviously an over current situation but I cannot find the culprit. Just asking if anyone has experienced the same misfortune. Thanks.

@syscokid may have some experience with a version of that circuit…hopefully he will stop in.
