Round 2) Definitely the tonal range was seeking for more flavor in recording. Had 1 before, it is s great amp. Totally giggable if need be, has such a big sound, unique sound actually. Loves Tele's & LP's. Run it in Blend mode both channels on with High side dimed & low about half. Right at the normal volume range run the Marshall's actually, which is live drum level. Also great to just grab & bring into the LR for low volume writing sessions. Such a raunchy breakup dimed in its own way.Supro.jpgSupro tele.jpgSupro top.jpgSupro rear.jpg

Congrats , very nice . How does sound ?
Thanks, Actually incredible, being a guitar volume knob rider, this thing dimed is perfect to roll back for clean. Always thought the speaker that comes with the amp is one of the best sounding in the room & recording.

Finally have an amp can set to about to explode level & it right at band level

The Casino is insane into it, like a natural fuzz but angry, the tele is rhaspy & the LP is thick.

Ahh,,, from the owners manual, just went to a whole new level, wow, clean & dimed lead channel with an A/B . This thing is nuts with the channels dimed & absolutely pristine at noon. Now can have best of both world on a footswitch

"Using a simple A/B switch, you can plug a single instrument into both inputs to achieve (phase coherent) channel
switching in its purest form. Try turning the volume of channel 1 to 12:00 while cranking the volume on channel 2 all
the way up to be used as a lead channel"

Under the mic already, it inspired instant song. Gibson SGJ 61 Zebra pickups going straight in, blend mode, Chan 1 dimed, chan 2 on 5 & tone at 1. O'clock. MXL DX2 2" off grill at edge of dust cap. MXL Ribbon 3' back using the 3 to1 phase equation.

Bathroom tone , yeah man !! Sounds crazy in there ! Supro mic.jpg

Well, got my rythym tracked with the Supro, had the song worked out pretty good all week. Would say, the amp leaned me towards a little bit nastier sound than i had planned. So rolled right along with it.

So much goodness is happening on the recordings by mic placement & using different parts of the house to create, Where i kinda want the main placement in the mix. The fundamental rythym track that is about L&R but also depth. using my room for the natural reverb & mic distance to pick up that. The recordings are starting to translate some of that as i learn the less is more approach but major, major effort on capturing it. As if you were standing in front of the band & the instruments have their space & place in the mix naturally. Not using just another plug in for the effect, but using the naturalness of the room
