Not sure, came on the 82 Explorer. Seems to be an early version. Not as much range as a modern FR because it goes above the nut. But I like it! Very versatile system. I have yet to use it properly for a rehearsal or gig tho.

Also gotta say, I love your pointing pose in this pic.
It reminds me, at a recent gig we did for an organization that provides services to special needs adults, I noticed a young lady who had Down’s Syndrome dancing near the stage.
At one point, I caught her eye and pointed at her just like you’re doing in this pic. She just beamed with the biggest smile and pointed back at me and it made my whole day!

Rick Neilsen Cheap Trick is probably my biggest influence on live performing and I am normally a goofball and really enjoys it so this stuff comes out. Headbutting picks to the crowd, sticking em to my face like tears etc...

It occurs to me that I've never used this guitar as an avatar.
One cool thing is that this is a mahogany body. Fender used those in the American Deluxe Strats for a couple years in the early 2000's. The finish is called, "Transparent Crimson Red."
It also has the S1 switching system, which I really like. It makes for a wide variety of tones you can get.

There are two types of "grey"
