Semi unrelated to music and gear question.

For most of us here the OS of choice is either Windows or MAC. However, I know some of us is either considering LINUX or already using LINUX. If so....

What brand....name....version... or whatever you want to call it? Is it worth using?

Thoughts? And go.

Have 2 win 10 pc’s , and a brand new 11. Might want to switch one of the 10 to Linux. Following this thread.
P .S. As I have stated in another thread I have switched from MS office to libre office and couldn’t be happier. Makes the Linux option more interesting

It’s been 15+ years since I had work projects that used Linux. We bought it from Red Hat.

Local newspaper tech guy had an article on what to do with al old windows PC , he was suggesting Ubuntu or Mint

My oldest son built his own computer a few years ago and decided to go with Linux. He really likes it. If memory serves, he has a Windows virtual machine running on his Linux platform.

I read you can have both. Load Linux from a memory stick or just have 2 partitions set up. I have 1Tb to play with on the HD, so real estate is an issue.
