Catchy tune, I like the guitar music, the Strat sounds very good.

Still working on playing this one. More or less I can. Just not consistently and at speed...... or correctly. Doing it my way.

I think there are 2 guitars in the verse, 2 different parts so it's hard to do by yourself. Gotta compromise.

Another school of thought is: When it sounds like you've applied the right amount of reverb or delay to your ears....dial it down by 5 or 10%.

I have difficulty listening to instrumental music that is super saturated with excessive amounts of reverb or delay because as the last few notes of a guitar phrase (for example) are echoing out succeeding notes are trampling all over and competing for sonic space.

That motto is just a goof, a joke on “that ‘80s sound.” Not an actual production approach.
