Movies You Think Will Stand The Test Of Time.

Eyes Wide Shut.

Watched it again last weekend. Holy moly, what a great film. And viewed through the lens of 'recent events', um... even more disturbing.
Interesting fact, Stanley Kubrick (Director) was told not to include certain aspects of this movie. He did include them and died shortly after. He also directed and produced The Shining which had several references to Apollo 11. You can follow up on conspiracy theories regarding both movies. Bottom line is Stanley Kubrick died in his sleep from a heart attack on March 7, 1999, at age 70 at his home in Childwickbury, England. Renowned as one of the 20th century's most influential directors, he passed away just before the release of his final film, Eyes Wide Shut.

Sorry if that was too complicated for you. I'll try to dumb it down next time. Thank you for the critique!
Not that it was complicated. My money is on the lack of applicable context in your post, that he quoted, that left him…wanting, curious, and not critiquing.
I understand that the full context may not be acceptable for this forum, but…perhaps he is better served by not indulging in it.
Your opinion is noted though.

Never saw it, have no clue about the plot, so I don't understand the last statement you made, " And viewed..."
That’s okay chili. I know the plot line and the actors in it. Even seen enough of to know I’m not interested. And I didn’t get what “and viewed…” suggested.

With all due respect, you're forgetting the fact that the screenplay for the movie, "Epstein Island" has not yet been written.

It's also advisable to avoid bringing current day politics into topics of discussion.

Kubrick, don’t forget Hal 2000!
Great topic now.
On one of our old computers for the power up sound I used "Good Morning Dave." And for errors, for a bit I had it saying "I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that." However.... was making so many mistakes I went back to the standard Windows Ding.

But yep. "2001 Space Odyssey" is a classic. Always felt 2010 was sorta lame compared.

Bullitt for sure.
This was not from a movie. But in the TV series Acatraz, they more or less reproduced the Bullitt car chase. Not 100%, but close enough it had me giggling thru the chase. Many scenes the same. Anyway. Enjoy.
