Here ya go kids. First try at this and as is normal operating procedure from yours truly..... "Name That Riff" was done on a bass guitar. I don't do anything "normal." Our friend @Headache is oft times heard to say.... "This one should be easy." Yeah right. However, this one really ought to be pretty easy. Enjoy. Had fun doing it.

Edit: Readers Digest version of the song. Didn't play the entire song. Although I could have. It's short anyway.

For sure I’m not hitting all the notes. Kept it pretty simple for this exercise. I’ve had the bass a long time but just in the past year I’ve decided it was time to actually play it. Still a huge work in progress.

That actually WAS easy, 3 notes and I had it.... What's probably really funny is the first time I ever heard this song, it was a cover version.
I'm not even sure I've heard the original.

Regardless of however the original bass was played and recorded, do your own thing if you're going to record a cover recording.
