2016, had an SG that guy put p100 in. It was a very unique sound. Would p100 be closer to a humbucker in p90 tone range. Remember it being very clear but substantially beefier tone in general. No breaking up quick and staying clear on leads

I’ve never had the opportunity to try a p100. Sorry.

I think that Bdon knew it was a keeper when he bought it. For those of us who have played any Faded SG's or Faded V's., we know that when they are set up well and whether equipped with the stock pups or modded with other options, the Faded Cherry and Walnut Specials are R n R weapons that take no prisoners.

Actually, it was a gamble at the start. I bought it as a husk…before doing so was a thing…Stratosphere didn’t exist(afaik) yet…and there were only a couple of flea-bay shops that were parting out old junkers. Now the asking prices on these gamble-husks is a little more steep IMO.
When I bought the V it was fully equipped with a nut, and a ground wire that flopped around between the empty stop tail bushing hole and the control cavity. Absolutely nothing else….well….apart from the wood finish. It was….a blank canvas. A gamble. A truly faith based purchase.

Yes. It IS a keeper.
