Finally I had some good news today. After 5y wait countless hoops to jump through and all the money I’ve spent on scans, doc….etc… I finally get my licence back on Friday.

I have 11:30 appointment on Fri to pick my badge… I’m exited but I have mixed emotions. I’ll be living my office job where I met so many cool people and made friends for life. One of them will be playing bass in my band.

I had some help along the way to help me get my badge back and his done tremendous job by being relentless with licensing team.

He helped me avoid more hoops to jump through and finally I crossed the finish line.

Some point next week, I sort out car paperwork and I’m ready for open road.
I feel like lot of weight has lifted off my shoulders. Still more to life in other departments but that will be done sooner or later too.

Anyways, I’m so exited I wanted to share this news with you. An other small win for peasant hahah

Hey man, in short I suffered stroke 5y ago. I was licensed cab driver 10+ years, due to my stroke my licence got suspended for 5 years. Lots of hospital appointments, scan, treatment side effects , all sorts has happened past five years. This year my suspension ended and journey to reapply for licence has been really difficult. I made full recovery and I got my licence back and ready to go back on the road.
