Music & Gas Plans for 2026

I'm not intending to buy any gear this year, I have everything I need and more. Might consider selling off a couple of guitars, if the price is right, If not, I will hold onto them.

I will continue to practice and play the songs that I already know, plus the two new ones i have just learned, and now working on one more for this year. Also will continue to play for my friends and fans at my summer place

I’ve started a band that comes together in its semi-final form on January 8th. My goal is to hold this band together for a while and learn to add more jazz magic to my quirky blues.

Get a few friggin gigs for 2026! Might get a second band on the go if the main one is slow. At least get to jam in a group setting more.

10 original songs in process right now,going right along with AI Orpheus challenge thread but no AI here. Would like a comparison of thoughts when it is all said and done, ,

The band is booked solid 2026.

Phos 26 new songs will be recorded & mixed and mastered

BFT about 6 new & add 2nd set so we can close the bigger gigs.

Gear - got it all ! Just need some killer old school speakers & power amp for mastering.

That sounds like a new year's resolution rationalization.

I'm oddly satisfied with my amps.
Guitars can always be tweaked a little for something to do.
Can't rule out speaker experimentation.
And the pedal quest is never-ending.

I don't really have much in the way of GAS plans (well, maybe I'll indulge that Flying V fetish!) aside from incremental improvements to my rig.

As for music, we're starting to write some originals in the band, and we would like to get into the studio and record an EP.
