I guess I am locked out of project Orpheus at the moment.

Who knows? You could very well already bring better at this than me! I certainly don't want this a full cookie-cutter process for all... different approaches will provide us variations in our results. Neither of those should be your concern. I didn’t even make a dent last year but I had fun...

Nobody's locked out that i can see? Anyway... I see you are experimenting, playing.

Maddening when the "singer" pronounces "wind" exactly wrong. But if you remaster it, it can often come out proper. Sometimes you have to spell things phonetically.

I have one piece with a made up place name in the song four times. It got it right only once so I'm thinking I might have d/l stems, try to chop 'n swap. but it might sound strange. I wish I could flag one as correct somehow maybe that's the pay grade above pro.

Once, I couldn't get it to say "read", it kept wanting to sing "red" but finally got it after I changed the text to "reed"... that sort of thing.

For wind you might try "winnnd" or even "winned." You have to trick it sometimes. There is a learning curve, but if you have the time and credits to burn....

One song I wanted "uuuusin' " and it came out "ooozin' sometimes it's like pulling the handle of a slot machine.. should have maybe triedsay "youuu-sin"

I still don't really know my way around the editing functions too well. There are enty of youtube videos as instructional. I preferred your first version.

There seems to be much variety even in the version you pick to generate. Some say it's best to first generate in version 3.5 or 4.5 then do a "cover" of it in version 5 for best sound quality.

Lots to learn... I know lots do, but I don't feel I could darecpost this as my work on an actual music site... though I understand there are specific ones growing up around this sort of stuff.

I was not technically locked out , it was holding the last post I did like it was never posted. You know the multi post problem we had. I think Wav fixed it. I did have to logout and back in.

One unexpected fun thing I'm finding about Suno is it's making me want to learn some of the riffs it creates, so it's a pretty fun practice tool that way.

I had not seen this video, wait. Sorry , but who is RVM?

I have managed to to get about 1/2 way through the video and I feel exactly the same about it. It’s embarrassing but AI is a better guitar player than me. I also don’t want to use the guitar song parts.

Over a year ago during riffmasters Suno became popular. I didn’t bother with it until now.

My request to all members, especially the ones who oppose the AI platform
Please give me room to fail.
I have tried my whole life to play guitar and at my age I can honestly say I will never achieve my goal. There are so many people here that are super talented. That is a blessing for you.
If you can give me only one thing I would ask is just a little slack on Suno. I am not trying to win popular decisions , priority or money.

Since I started this project, I dumped words in , songs came out.
I also put some guitar riffs in and songs came out. Now for you super talented folks, these songs are dumb, the are not heart felt human creation.

That is where I am learning a bunch I never would have otherwise learned between now and (the end) This program gives me hope I otherwise would not have.

It has trigged my imagination in the first song I wrote and dropped it in with a few prompts.
The lyrics are very rudimentary and the chord pattern follows it.
The fun thing for me about it is the vocal , it has many textures. Harmonies and backing, it sounds sort of reverb heavy but it works.

I don’t feel bad about using the melody because one , it is basic and has probably been used 100’s or 1000’s of times in so many songs. Let’s keep in mind every single song in the 20th and 21st century that was written was influenced by something previously recorded.

The difference is your mind (computer like) stored it and remember it at the right time to hit record.
I am trying very hard to reproduce this but I don’t care how basic it is, I will never be that polished. So when I do this one song I will put 2 versions maybe 3 The first thing that came out , me along with it and the final production I do for the album. It is helping me to try and train my voice. That could take years.
 
After spending nearly a month with Suno I reached a fork in the road.
The program does create nearly perfect mixes.
I wish it would just take music and tweak it enough to pass the average listener.
I started my first song and I put the lyrics in it and produce a very catchy melody.

Since then , I have spent many hours trying to reproduce that exact song and now I have determined, I am not that perfect. The machine is faster and more precise.
I am just now trying to learn to sing.
That’s where this thing breaks. No matter how hard I try I can not match that vocal. I was trying to transpose it down a Half step so I could try singing it. It’s just more like than I want to do. Not that I didn’t try.
