I'm messing around with Native Instruments Maschine
You do better than me, you described my situation. My hearing is not great.Po' boy here using mostly MT Drum kit... free VST drum samples, midi triggered.
I want to say making proper drum tracks has been my weakness, but I have so many other weaknesses too.
My biggest problem other than minimal musical skill/talent is my aversion to detailed tweaking, adding/inventing fills, etc. Short attention span...I think some hearing loss is also hurting my overall mix/eq sensibilities.
Very good,I like hydrogen drum.My favourite software is still Hydrogen. It works nicely with the middleware Jack and can work together with all the DAW softwares like ardour or qtractor. Which are not Linux-only but more or less system independent.
Whew….. for a moment there, thought you’d said Hydrogen was da bomb.Very good,I like hydrogen drum.
I have that also Komplete Collectors edition 15 that said we use acoustic drums for recordingI use the Native Instruments drums… Vintage, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, Modern and Studio Drummer, the Abbey Road series. They sound really good, the built-in grooves are highly usable, and they run under Kontakt.

My problem was always finding a drummer worth recording.I have that also Komplete Collectors edition 15 that said we use acoustic drums for recording
